# Commands - Updating

## <kbd>/update</kbd>

The update command is used for updating an existing part subscription, this can even apply to parts that are part of a group you are subscribed to, but will only apply changes to the specified part.

#### Parameters

* `part_name` (Required) - the part you would like to update, this must be a part you are already subscribed to e.g. rtx 4060, ryzen 5 5600X.
